Hello 2019!
I am so excited for what’s in store for L Nicole Photography in 2019!
I know many of you already know me, but I felt we could start this year off with some fun facts about me! I am so excited to work with each of you this year.
I specialize in fine art photography for newborns, children, families, and maternity in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas.
I am originally from Northern Virginia but have been in the Richmond area for five years. I have a BS in Marketing from Old Dominion University but photography and creative projects have long been a passion of mine. My daughter was finally the push I needed to start my photography business as I believe there is something so sweet and precious about capturing those little toes and fingers!
I mentioned starting a photography business to my husband, who is a firm believer in following your passion. He thought it was a great idea and I immediately sought information about the industry and registered for numerous training sessions. I have trained with some of the top newborn photographers from DC, Tennessee, and Australia which included learning proper safety for newborn posing and over 40 hours of education for newborn photography. Each year I continue to invest in my education with seminars and hands on training classes. I believe in providing my clients with the best experience and that comes from continuous training. My company is also licensed and insured.
I am a proud mom to a beautiful DIVA daughter and a handsome FUNNY little boy. I have been married to my husband (my best friend) for over 9 years.

What is at the top of your bucket list? A trip to Tahiti
What is your biggest fear? Throw up! Like seriously… the biggest one!
What is your biggest regret? Not taking time after college to travel the world before having kids.
What is your eye color? Dark brown
What is the most important thing in your life? Family and friends
Who is your favorite musician? I like 90s R&B, but I love Elle Mai and Jhene Aiko
Who’s your favorite person in the world? probably my mom! she is so balanced and I like to say she is the human Google.
What is your favorite childhood memory? my parents once told my sister and I we were going to watch planes take off at the airport (boring!) but they really were surprising us with a trip to Disney!
What is your favorite color? grey or black
What is your favorite healthy snack? apple with peanut butter
What is your favorite type of clothing? Lululemon leggings
What is your favorite way to pass time? shop
What is your all-time favorite town or city? Miami, quick flight and usually cheap and surrounded by beautiful water and good food!
What is your favorite candle scent? anything aromatherapy (Eucalyptus or lavender)
What is your favorite social media channel? Instagram
What is the first app you check when you wake up in the morning? Currently the Calm App for a quick morning meditation
Are you scared of heights? nope!
Are you a dog person or cat person? dog person for sure
